SAT/ACT prep classes being offered

The Bainbridge College Division of Continuing Education is offering a course designed to prepare students to take the critical reading, writing and mathematics portions of both the SAT and ACT college preparatory exams.

Instructor Diana Whitaker will cover writing, critical reading, mathematics, vocabulary and test-taking strategies. There are two opportunities to take the course: One beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 17, and continuing on Thursday, Jan. 19, Tuesday, Jan. 24, and Thursday, Jan. 26; and the second beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 21, and continuing on Wednesday, Feb. 22, Tuesday, Feb. 28, and Thursday, March 1.

The course, which costs $50, is from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Room 206 at the BC Continuing Education Center at Bainbridge Mall. To register or for more information, call (229) 248-2516. There are a few scholarship spots available for Decatur County students.
