Last Wednesday, downtown business owners were eager to gather at The Bean Cafe and hold a Coffee and Conservation meeting. Wild Aces Boutique owners Amber Walden and Alicia Ackels shared positive experience, reporting strong business during the festive shopping days. Other businesses echoed the same sentiment as they highlighted a successful kickoff to the holiday season. In an exciting development, Rosalyn Barber, owner of KarAn’s Korner, announced that she’s going to offer a “Grab and Go” drink and food items at 213 E. Water Street around the summertime. Also, Amanda Glover introduced a book called “Living History Tour” that details historical information about Downtown Bainbridge. The overall conversation was positive and reflected the advancement of downtown businesses. “Retailers and restaurants have been very crowded, and people are excited about the holiday season.” Glover exclaimed.
