Coach Moon talked this week about the importance of the Region 1AAAA games.

“All games are important, but our Region 1AAAA games are a little extra important,” she said. “The more of them you win, the better seeding you will get in the Region 1AAAA Tournament.”

The Lady Cats will host the Region 1AAAA Tournament Tuesday, Feb. 15, through Saturday, Feb. 19.

“When you get into Region 1AAAA play, you can throw regular-season records away. Everybody plays well,” Moon said.

Team seedings for the Region 1AAAA Tournament will be determined following the regular season. Teams on the other half of Region 1AAAA Sub-Region are Northside Warner Robins, Hardaway of Columbus, Northside Columbus and Warner Robins.
