Tennis Center to host several events
The Bainbridge Tennis Center is hosting a variety of play opportunities in late summer and early fall.
Cardio tennis, which mixes up tennis with workout music, will start Friday, August 9 at 9 a.m. and continue on following Fridays at the same time. The focus of the one-hour class is to get an aerobic workout so we will be playing games that improve footwork, stamina, and short burst sprinting. Players of all skill levels are welcomed. The cost of the class is $10; the instructor will be tennis pro Elyse Fenton.
For more information, call the Bill Reynolds Tennis Center at (229) 248-2020.
An adult combo team tournament will be held at the Tennis Center on Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25. The cost is $12 per player and includes play, balls, lunch and drinks. Teams can sign up on the Tennis Link website. Teams can have anywhere between six and ten players of various skill levels.

In addition to weekly instructional clinics for children and youth of all skill levels, the Tennis Center will host a match play clinic for junior players beginning Monday, September 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The clinic will last for five weeks and costs $20. The clinic, hosted by tennis pro Elyse Fenton, is an opportunity to kids to put in to practice the skills that they learn in clinics. Every week children will have at least one singles match and possibly a doubles match against someone their own skill level.
