Bainbridge College will host a 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) Purple Heart Run and one-mile walk Saturday at 9 a.m., to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

First, second and third place age group prizes will be awarded. The early entry fee is $15 and entry fee on the day of the event will be $20.

T-shirts will be given to participants, but if they do not want a T-shirt the entry fee will be $15.
