Lady Cats win 1, lose 1

The Bainbridge Middle School eighth-grade Lady Cats split two games this  week.

The Lady Cats downed Miller County Middle School, 39-22, on Monday in Colquitt, Ga., and lost to Pelham Middle School, 28-22, Wednesday at home.

Kiana King topped the Lady Cats’ scoring chart against MCMS, with 13 points. She was followed by Victoria Sprenkle with eight, Jasmine Rainey with seven, Tyra Smart with six and Chelsea Hall with four.

Kiana King led BMS’s effort against Pelham, with six points. Tyra Smart and Victoria Sprenkle scored four apiece.

The Lady Cats do not return to action until Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, when they travel to Thomas County to take on the Thomas County Middle School eighth-grade Lady Yellow Jackets.
