Enfinger named new BHS cross-country coach

Lisa Enfinger is the new Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats cross-country coach.
She is the media specialist at John Johnson Elementary School and she replaces Jennifer Oldaker, who coached the Bearcats and Lady Cats last season. Community coach Greg Waddell returns to assist in the program.
The Bearcats and Lady Cats will open their cross-country seasons Saturday, Aug. 25, when they compete in the Georgia Mid State Classic, in Perry, Ga.
They will travel to Lee County Saturday, Sept. 8, for a meet against the Lee County High School Trojans and Lady Trojans.
Following a Saturday, Sept. 15, open date, the teams will host a meet on Saturday, Sept. 22. They will travel to Thomasville on Saturday, Sept. 29, for a meet with the Thomasville High School Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs.
Their October schedule will begin with a Saturday, Oct. 6, meet against the Westover High School Patriots and Lady Patriots, in Albany, Ga.
The Bearcats and Lady Cats will travel to Tifton, Ga., for a Saturday, Oct. 13, meet with the Tift County High School Blue Devils and Lady Blue Devils.
Their final two October meets will be a Saturday, Oct. 20, road meet against the Thomas County Central High School Yellow Jackets and Lady Yellow Jackets, and a Saturday, Oct. 27, home meet.
The Region 1-AAAAA and state Class AAAAA meets will be Saturday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 10, at yet-to-be-determined locations.
