The Decatur County Warriors football and cheer league registration for 6-to-12-year-old youngsters began Tuesday, July 2, at Hibbett Sports.

Youngsters whose 13th birthday is before Sept. 1, 2012, will also be eligible.

Registration can also be done from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hutto Middle School’s Sam Burgess Field. Registration will continue on a first come, first serve basis, until the teams are full.

There will be a $20 non-refundable equipment co-pay for all participants. Practices will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hutto.

No parents or non-participants will be allowed to stay for practices, but those interested in being volunteers can call the youth football coach at (229) 726-5753, or the youth cheer coach at (229) 220-9727.

The league is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and contributions are needed and appreciated. All contributions should be made payable to Decatur County Warriors League, Inc.
