Bainbridge High School Bearcats sophomore soccer forward and midfielder Daniel Provence had a strong performance for the Royal All-Star team in their 4-2 victory over the Grey All-Star team Tuesday, May 22 at Columbus State University.

He set up his team’s first goal in the game,  sponsored by the Columbus  Sports Council, when he rifled a pass from the wing to Preston Gayton in the box from where he maneuvered into scoring range and fired a shot by the goal tender and into the net.

Gayton, who played at Starr’s Mill High School in Fayette County and will be attending Clemson University next season on a soccer scholarship, scored three of his team’s four goals.
