The Grace Christian Academy Cougars opened their regular season with a victory Thursday, as they defeated East Hill Christian School, of Pensacola, Fla., by a 7-3 score.

Anderson Bailey and Dalton Boyd combined to strike out 16 in the victory, while Bo Bailey and Anderson Bailey had two hits apiece to lead the offense.

Brent Warr was on base three times and scored twice.

“Hitters showed a good combination of patience and aggression, while the defense was solid throughout the game,” Grace coach Ken Bailey said.
