Bearcats open tournament play Monday

Coach Scott Miller’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats baseball team opens their season at home Monday at 4 p.m. against the Dothan (Ala.) High School Tigers in a first round game of the 2012 Adidas R&S Sports Tri-State Invitational Tournament at Bearcat Field.

The Bearcats game will be followed by a 7 p.m. game between Dothan and the Cairo High School Syrupmakers.

Tuesday tournament action will feature a 4 p.m. game between Dothan and the Miller County High School Pirates and a 7 p.m. game between the Sneads, Florida High School Pirates and the Miller County High School Pirates.

On Wednesday Tallahasseee’s Rickards High School Raiders will play the Seminole County High School Indians at 4 p.m. and Rickards will play Cairo at 7 p.m.

Thursday’s action will feature the Bearcats against Sneads at 4 p.m. and Seminole County against Sneads at 7 p.m.

On Friday, Rickards will play Miller County at 4 p.m. and Bainbridge will play Cairo at 7 p.m.

Saturday will be reserved for the playing of any tournament games that might have been rained out.
