Some 70 tennis enthusiasts participated in the annual Polar Bear Tennis Tournament on Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 at the Bill Reynolds Sports Park Tennis Center.

They played in warm temperatures and more humidity than would be expected this time of year.

Winners included Crystal Adams and Joey Arnold in women’s 3.0 doubles, Donna Trammell and Darlene Morris in women’s 3.5 doubles and Leslie Allen and Mary Nelson Notaro in women’s 4.0 doubles.

Also winning were Donald Boyett and Johnny Edwards in men’s 3.0 doubles, Stone Inlow and Mitchell Massengill in men’s 3.5 doubles and Chuck Arnold and Don Arnold in men’s 4.0 doubles.
