The entry fee, which is $250 for each four-person team, should be submitted to Don Sickmon at “4363 Fowlstown Road, Attapulgus, GA 39815,” on or before Jan. 27.

For more information about the Shoot For Sight, call Sickmon at (229) 220-5886 or (229) 465-3366. Sponsorships are also available.

The Lewis Scoring Method will be used. This method takes all of the shooters in a competition and orders the final scores numerically, splitting the scores into a certain number of groups. For example, in a 10-team competition separated into two groups, the top five scores would be in one group and the bottom five would be in another group. Then, the top winners in each group are selected (in this example, the “top winners” would be the No. 1 and No. 6 teams). This gives every contestant a chance to win, regardless of their shooting ability.

Each team will supply their own guns and ammunition and each member of the A class champions and B class champions will receive plaques.

In addition, each A class and B class individual high scorer will receive plaques.

A pork sausage breakfast will be provided for the hunters.
