Willie Cowboy Richardson holds a 27-1\ 4-pound striper bass he caught around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 while fishing off the cat walk at Jim Woodruff Dam. He said he caught it on a 20-pound line and it took him about 15 minutes to pull it in. He says it is the biggest fish he has caught since pulling in a 58- 3\ 4-pound Appaloosa catfish in 1990. He caught a 22-pound striper bass in 2001.
