Coach Heith Maxwell’s Bainbridge Middle School eighth grade Bearcats basketball team defeated the Thomas County Central Middle School eighth grade Yellow Jackets 44-27 last Thursday at the Decatur County Memorial Coliseum to improve their season record to 3-0-1.

Tigers Trey Miller and Jalen Belin combined for 29 points. Miller led the way with 18 and Belin added 11. Henry Kelly put in 8.

The location of this Thursday’s game against Washington Middle School has been changed from Bainbridge to Cairo, due to the Bainbridge Christmas parade. The two teams’ Dec. 12 game will be played in Bainbridge instead of Cairo.
