Harris wins MS run

Grace Christian Academy Cougars eighth grader Chase Harris ran away from a 120-runner field Saturday, Sept. 25 to win the 3200-meter, two-mile Quail Trail Invitational Cross Country Run in Thomasville.

The top Lady Cougars runner was seventh grader Perra Harrell, who finished eighth overall in a 106-runner girls field with a time of 14:05.20.

Harris’s brother, Caleb Harris, was 13th for the Cougars in a time of 12:36.11.

Other Grace boys finishers were Alex Ward in a time of 14:26.25, Josh Carnes in a time of 15:27.31 and Austin Anderson finished with a time of 25:33.71.
