Lions Skeet Shoot champions honored

Chuck Wester was the top individual shooter in the A Division and Colby Boyett was the top individual shooter in the B Division.

The Todd Martin State Farm and Mitchell County 4-H Club No. 1 teams won the A and B Division team championships at Saturday’s 14th-annual Bainbridge Lions Club Skeet Shoot For Sight.

The State Farm team members were Kale Boyett, Chuck Wester, Todd Martin and Ted Martin. The Mitchell County 4-H Club No. 1 team members were Vince Bostick, Dennis Wright, Trey Wright and Chandler Conine.

Chuck Wester was the top individual shooter in the A Division and Colby Boyett was the top individual shooter in the B Division.

Fifteen teams competed at Saturday’s event, which was held at Mathew Sharber’s East River Clays 10 Station Shooting Range.

Proceeds benefitted Lions sight and hearing conservation projects, which include providing glasses and hearing aids and making optical operations available to needy individuals.
