Donnie Fordham, a 31-year veteran of the Bainbridge College faculty, as well as John and Marcia McRae, were recognized Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, during a reception in honor of their retirements. Fordham was a professor of accounting in the Technical Studies Division for more than 31 years, and to illustrate how long he has been with the college, Fordham began just eight years after the institution opened. “You helped build this institution and make it into the special place that it is,” BC President Richard Carvajal, on the right, told Fordham as he presented him with a plaque during a reception held at the Mobley Administration. John McRae, a former principal at John-Johnson Elementary School in Bainbridge, taught early childhood education at the Bainbridge College Early County Center. Marcia McRae has been the BC director of college relations for more than six years. Their retirements were recognized on the same day as their 41st wedding anniversary.
