Services for Mrs. Beulah Kimbrel, were held Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Colquitt, Ga., with Rev. Edward Williams officiating.
Mrs. Beulah Kimbrel, affectionately known as “B.K.” in the community, was born March 26, 1926, in Early County, to the late Connie Bud Jackson and the late Lucy Baldwin. She had three siblings: one brother and two sisters. Beulah was the loving wife of Henry Roseborough Sr., who preceded her in death. She later married Mack Kimbrel Jr., who also preceded her in death.
She worked as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) until her retirement. A loving member of her community, she had fun with many by saying funny things and doing things for people. “B.K.” was the mother of 13; six of whom preceded her in death: Lizzie Roseborough, Lillie Roseborough, Henry Roseborough, Eddie Kimbrel, Frederick Kimbrel, and Charleston Kimbrel.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories seven children: Otis “O.D.” Henderson of Colquitt, Willie B. Morgan (Margaret) of Rochester, N.Y., Clara Kimbrel Sheffield (O.B.) of Bainbridge, Nellie Kimbrel Jones (Roy), Sandra Kimbrel Griffin, Lorenzo Kimbrel, all of Rochester, N.Y., and Cynthia Kimbrel of Colquitt; four grandchildren whom she reared in her home: Dewayne Johnson (Rosie), ThaShanna Griffin, both of Rochester, N.Y., Anthony Roseborough (Carolyn) of Zephyrhills, Fla., Marquise Kimbrel (Katrina) of Alamo, Ga.; 25 additional grandchildren: Tonda Randall (Ronnie), Andrea Henderson, DeAnna Kimbrel, Natosha Hoffman, Phyllis Roseborough, Patricia Roseborough, DeDe Gail, Elijah Sheffield, Camora Kimbrel, Durrell Hoffman, Steve Roseborough, Kenneth Kinder, James “Cufflinks” Gail, Jamie Griffin, Tamara Hoffman, Shondra Hoffman, Brandis Hoffman, Keith Key, Jada Jones, Shavar Hoffman, Destiny Hoffman, Kristen Hoffman, Dexter Gilbert, Troy Hall, and Howard Roseborough; 39 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Louisa Lofton of Philadelphia, Pa.; three godchildren: Theresa Warren (Ralph) of Colquitt, Roman Cull (Lisa) of Blakely, Ga., and Calvin McBride of Bainbridge; a special nephew, Willie Edward Pittman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Pallbearers were grandsons and friends of the family.
Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
