Ms. Baggett was born Oct. 13, 1941, in Decatur County to the late William Joshua and Julia Mae Sadler Harrell. She died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at her home.

At the age of 14 she was baptized at a holiness church and loved the Lord all of her life. She had to quit high school, but returned for her G.E.D. and went to secretarial school so that she could make a better life for her children. She loved people, and always went out of her way to help others in any way she could.

Her legacy lives on through the many friends and acquaintances she has helped throughout the years. She was an accomplished seamstress and made high-school cheerleading uniforms and prom dresses while her daughters were in high school.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Abron Harrell, Bobby Harrell, Melton Harrell and Jack Harrell; and sisters, Lucy Moneyham and Irene Harrell.

She is survived by children and spouses: Sherry Daniels of Cairo, Vicki Daniels Williams and Jack Williams of Moundsville, W.Va., and Joey Daniels of Bainbridge; grandchildren and spouses: Frank and Chasity Cottles of Crystal River, Fla., Amanda Jacobs of Moundsville, W. Va., Michael and Emily Jacobs of Cadiz, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Clark Funeral Home of Cairo was in charge of the arrangements.
