Funeral services for Ollie Mae Duke, 83, of Bainbridge, were held Sunday, Sept. 13, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Dawson and Bob Nipper officiating.

Interment followed at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with her grandsons serving as active pallbearers.

Born Nov. 27, 1925, in Seminole County, Ga., Mrs. Duke died on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

Mrs. Duke was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert B. Daniels; her sister, Marie Phillips, and her grandson, Dallas Anthony Duke.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Charlie Duke of Bainbridge; three sons, David Duke of Eldorendo, Ga., Randy Duke of Thomasville, Ga., and Phillip Duke of Tallahassee, Fla.; two daughters, Vesta Bush of Orlando, Fla., and Lorrie Fite of Andalusia, Ala.; two sisters, Mildred Cason of Hudson, Fla., and Hazel McLendon of Bainbridge; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
