The city of Bainbridge is hosting its annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration again at the Earle May Boat Basin on Tuesday.

This year’s festivities promise to make it one to remember. With two bands, food vendors and fireworks, it will be a family event for all to enjoy.

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and will run until 10:00 p.m.

This year’s celebration will feature two bands, the Flint River Band out of Pelham and the Rivertown Band from Jacksonville, Florida.

The Flint River Band will get things started at 5:00 p.m. on the stage at the boat basin.

After an afternoon of enjoying the music and food, it will be time for the big show. The fireworks will begin at dark, likely around 9:30 according to Megan Whimberly, special events coordinator for the City of Bainbridge.

If you elect to enjoy the holiday on your own accord, remember the firework safety rules from Bainbridge Public Safety.
