Barbara Pettis Inman, 78, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Friday, April 1, 2016.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. John Lown officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Barbara was born September 5, 1937 in Macon, Ga., the daughter of Albert Woodrow Pettis and Sara Edna Waits Pettis. She was a graduate of Miller High School and a retired real estate broker in Macon. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, played with several bridge clubs, and was the leader of the First Presbyterian Church Duplicate Bridge Club.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ray Inman of Bainbridge; her daughter, Suzanne Angell and her husband, Kevin, of Bainbridge; her sister, Jananne Cheshire of Irmo, SC; her grandchildren, Kevin Summers, Jr. and Sara Angell; and her great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Summers and Madalyn Summers. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Summers and her brother, Ronnie Pettis.
