Mildred Barber Sapp, 103, of Valdosta, Ga., passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Terry and Rev. Jack Seiverd officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Climax, Ga..

Mrs. Sapp was born January 25, 1912 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Barber and Vada Nichols Barber. She was a devoted homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church, Bainbridge.

Survivors include her siblings, William Lee Barber of Bainbridge, Sara B. Bellflower of Bainbridge, Juanita B. Talbert of Bainbridge; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Marvin Sapp; and 12 siblings.
