Leonard E. King, 77, of Bainbridge, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Bainbridge Healthcare.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will be at Andersonville National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. King was born October 20, 1937 in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of James Benjamin King and Henrietta Cloud King. He returned to Bainbridge, after honorably serving in the Untied States Army for 15 years and in the United States Air Force for 15 years and was of the Protestant Faith.
Survivors include his children, Tanya Grace and her husband, Michael, of Melbourne, Fla., Tina Spires of Warner Robbins, Ga. and Jessie B. King of Boston, Mass.; his siblings, Benny King of Bainbridge, Bill King of Bainbridge, and Lila Bennett of Attapulgus; several grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Sam King.
Ivey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
