Mildred Inman Brownlee

Mildred Inman Brownlee, 84, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Dec.11, 2013 at her residence.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Thomas P. Long officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brownlee was born Sept. 30, 1929 in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of Charles Jacob Inman and Ina Aretta Armstrong Inman. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis where she was a majorette. She retired after many years of service with the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services. Mrs. Brownlee was a member of First Christian Church and the D.A.R. She was very active in square dancing with her husband. She was the first female square dance caller in this area and taught square dancing for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Georgia Trepanier and her husband, Oliver, of Bainbridge, and Bobbi Culverson and her husband, Dewayne of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Brandon Horne and his wife, Dena, Lee Horne and his wife, Alecia, and Dane Culverson; and her great-grandchildren, Dillan Horne and Gage Horne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Brownlee, Jr.; and her siblings, Bob Inman and Roberta Carnes.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
