Joshua Timothy Wilder was welcomed in heaven early Sunday morning, June 9, 2013. Services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, in Quincy, Fla. Interment will follow at Old Philadelphia Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clay Fallis, Mitch Lewis, Bert Fletcher, Ricky Martin, Richard May and Danny Hood. Honorary pallbearers will be Boy Scout Troop 201 and the Robert F. Munroe football team.

Josh left us much too soon, a young man with great promise, who lived his life well. He was loved beyond measure by his mother Lisa, father Bob, sister Courtney, extended family and more friends than one could count. Josh, a 10-year participant in scouting, was completing his Eagle Scout Designation as a member of Troop 201. For seven years running, he was a member of Gadsden County 4H, showing steers and hogs, excelling in both categories.

Josh was a student at Robert F. Munroe Day School where he played football for two years and baseball for three years. For all his life he belonged to his church family at First Presbyterian Church Quincy, accompanying his mother on youth outings and trips as a young boy, and then faithfully participating as a full-gown member of the middle school and high school youth groups. Josh loved anything to do with the outdoors, hunting, fishing, swimming and playing. Everything he did was with determination, an infectious optimism, and a warm, sometimes mischievous, smile. Josh, we will miss you and we will always hold you in our hearts.
