Ressie Alice Clark, 93, passed away Dec. 1, 2012, in Tallahassee, Fla.

The daughter of the late Wiley M. and Dosha Pope Griffin, she was born July 26, 1919, in Bainbridge. She was a sales associate at JC Penney and a faithful member of East Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joel M. Clark; and her sons, Willis L. Clark and Michael Dewitt Clark.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Alice Westbrook; sons, Joel T. Clark, Melvin M. Clark and Glenn W. Clark; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Emmie Aultman.

Graveside services were held Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.

Abbey Funeral Home and Tallahassee Memory Gardens were in charge.
