Funeral services for Ginger Musgrove Elmer Prescott, 40, of Brinson, were held Monday, April 11, 2011 in the chapel of Colquitt Funeral Home with Rev. Rollin Rathel officiating. Interment followed at Notchaway Baptist Church Cemetery with Vernon Cook Jr., Ross Durham, Trey Durham, Steve Wilga, Ed Norman Jr., and Cecil Burns serving as active pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers were Allan Durham, Tim Cook, Frankie Farmer, Mark Burns and Bill Norman Jr.

She died Friday, April 8, 2011 at her residence. She was a medical transcriber and of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Amanda Elmer.

She is survived by one son Allen Jacob Elmer of Brinson; her parents, Nita and Richard Prescott of Bainbridge and Earl “Peanut” Musgrove of Colquitt; three sisters, Debra Musgrove and Ashley Prescott both of Bainbridge, Crystal “Matt” Carroll of Houston, Texas, and a host of other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ginger Prescott burial fund: Cornelia Prescott, 2821 Dothan Rd., Bainbridge, Ga., 39817.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of  arrangements.
