Luis Alberto Bautista-Mendoza, age 33, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023.

The Funeral Prayer Vigil will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tomas Beroch officiating.

The church will hold a Mass at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Luis was born September 8, 1989, in Los Reyes, Michoacan the son of Hector S Bautista and Laura Silvia Mendoza-Sosa. Luis worked at Laredo Grill in Bainbridge, GA at his family’s business. You could often see him with family and especially his mother and Luka, his nephew. Luis had a smile that would light up a room. He loved his friends and family very much.

Survivors include his parents, Hector Bautista and Laura Mendoza-Sosa; brother, Hector Bautista, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Luka, Angelina, Maddy, and Isabella; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The Bautista- Mendoza family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
