Taylor Elise Strickland, a University of Georgia student from Bainbridge, Georgia, studying animal science, has been selected to receive the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Mark Lord Agriculture Scholarship for the 2015-2016 school year. 

Each year the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) at the University of Georgia awards scholarships to eligible students enrolled in majors within the college.

Funding for scholarships comes from a diverse assortment of sources and donors and is offered to help with college-related expenses.

Scholarships allow students in the CAES to take advantage of opportunities they may only have while in college.

The Mark Lord Scholarship is awarded to rising juniors or seniors enrolled in CAES.

Taylor is the daughter of Ben and Debbie Strickland of Bainbridge.
