Bainbridge Bikefest on the horizon

The 18th annual Bainbridge Bikefest is to be held September 16-20 at the Bainbridge Bikefest Grounds

Bainbridge Bikefest is an annual event held every September and is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving to charities.   Bainbridge Bikefest is not owned or affliated with any group, organization or motorcycle club and is put on soley by volunteers.  These volunteers are made up of local citizens as well as citizens from surrounding counties even other states.

These volunteers donate tremendous amounts of time to make this event successful. Thanks to the generosity of local sponsors and community participation Bainbridge Bikefest has given approximately  $800,000 to charities. These charities include national charities such as Juvenile Diabetes, Salvation Army and Shriners.

Many local charities have also benefitted from Bainbridge Bikefest  including  scholarships at BHS , local, Leisure Services, Friendship house as well as local residents in need.

Bainbridge Bikefest members are also involved throughout the year in other charity drives such as Relay for lIfe.

This is a four-day event that is planned for an entire year to ensure the best possible outcome for those charities. Bainbridge Bikefest will have great entertainment including Shane Owens, Exile, Southern Outlaw Band, Leah Seawright and Eli just to name a few.

There will be a Veterens Cermony and Bike show on the square Saturday morning and Games scheduled on the Bikefest grounds Friday and Saturday throughout the day. Sunday church Services are held at the grounds Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.

Camping is available on the grounds with electric as well as primitive.  There will be an ATM available on the grounds along with golf cart rentals. Come out and have some fun and make some money for Charity.  Visit bainbridgebikefest.com for further information.
