First Baptist Church and Morningside Baptist church in Bainbridge are coming together to throw a celebration of America next Wednesday, July 1.

The 30-minute celebration will recognize the many people across this country who have helped build this nation. A stunning visual experience will also be featured.

The main event will be the choirs and audience singing together songs of patriotism.

“It’s patriotic,” event publicity chairman Dewey Robinson said. “It’s God and country. It goes with the season. We should be thankful for this country and the freedoms and all that we enjoy. This gives us an opportunity to listen to the music. The music will just be a full 30 minutes.”

Robinson said those in the audience who are serving or have served in any of the military branches will be recognized for their loyal service.

The presentation will be in the sanctuary of First Baptist and will begin at 7 p.m. The entire event is free and open to the public. No offerings will be received.
