Miss Godby to wed Mr. Hunter
Kathrin (Kati) Jean Godby, daughter of Marc Godby of Brinson and Melonie Godby of Donalsonville, and Victor (Vic) Lucas Hunter, of Donalsonville, are announcing their engagement.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Jerry Buttrum of Calhoun, Georgia, Butch and Joyce Godby of Iron City, Harley Keener and the late Jean Keener of Clayton, Georgia.
Miss Godby is a 2010 graduate of Seminole County High School and graduated in 2012 from the University of West Georgia. She is currently enrolled as a student at Troy University pursuing a master’s of education in school counseling. She is employed in the office of Danny S. Shepard, Attorney at Law.
The groom-to-be is the son of Dr. Sandy and Tommy Hunter of Donalsonville and the grandson of the late Allen and Othell Bodiford Bush of Miller County and JH and Pat Hunter of Iron City.
Mr. Hunter is a 2007 graduate of Seminole County High School and is enrolled at Georgia Southwestern University pursuing a degree in business management. He is employed with Shingler Farms & BST Ag Solutions.
The wedding is planned for May 16, at 3:30 p.m. at Pine Hill Plantation, where the reception will follow.
