Miss Poitevint to wed Mr. Barber

Miss Poitevint and Mr. Barber to wed in March

Randall and Kathryn Poitevint, of Bainbridge, announce the engagement of their daughter, Candace Fay Poitevint to Jonathan Barber, son of Thomas Barber and Ruthie Barber of New Castle, Pennsylvania.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. James Strachan and the late Fay Strachan of Jacksonville, Florida, and of the late Vera and Cecil Poitevint.

Miss Poitevint is a 2004 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University in the field of finance and marketing. She is employed as a contract manager for Navicure.

Mr. Barber is the grandson of John Barber and the late Margerie Barber of West Palm, Florida, and the late JoAnne and Donald Priester.

He is a graduate of New Neshannock High School and The Pennsylvania State University in the field of civil engineering. He is employed as a civil engineer with Giatech.

The wedding is planned for March 21, at 6 p.m. at The Georgian Terrace, Atlanta, where the reception will follow.
