Ashley Boyd, 27, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga.

A private funeral service will be held at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Earl Barron and the Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Youth Fund, P.O. Box 155, Bainbridge, GA 39818. Ashley was born Aug. 17, 1985, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents, Jack and Marjean Boyd of Bainbridge; her sister, Amber Martin of Thomasville, Ga.; and her nephews, Noah Barfield and Daniel Barfield.
