Fair steer show was full of promise

Hannah Bius of the Bainbridge High School Future Farmers of America Chapter showed the grand champion commercial heifer at last Thursday night’s Decatur County Fall Festival and Fair Beef Cattle Show.

Hannah Bius of the Bainbridge High School Future Farmers of America Chapter showed the grand champion commercial heifer  at last Thursday night’s Decatur County Fall Festival and Fair Beef Cattle Show.

The  reserve champion commercial heifer was shown by Chelsea Lynn of Decatur County. The grand champion registered heifer  was shown by  Blake Miller of Seminole County.

The grand champion steer was shown by  Austin Barnes of Mitchell County.

Will Henry of Miller County showed the reserve champion registered heifer which was first in the September heifers class, and John Dean Daniels of Mitchell County showed the reserve champion steer.

Showmanship winners were John Dean Daniels in the junior division for fourth, fifth and sixth graders, Blake Miller in the intermediate division for seventh through ninth graders, and Chelsea Lynn in the senior division for tenth through twelfth graders.
