BHS runners stand out at Epic 5K
Coach Lisa Enfinger’s Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats cross country teams are in Columbus today competing in the Region 1-AAAAA Meet.
They tuned up for the big event by turning in some strong times in the third annual Epic 5K run Saturday, Oct. 27, at Spring Hill Christmas Tree Farm.
The overall winner was Bennett Enfinger, with a time of 19 minutes, 21.06 seconds. The Lady Cats’ Amber Braswell captured the female championship with an eighth place overall time of 22:09.59.
Bearcats and Lady Cats community coach Greg Waddell and his “Swag” team captured the team championship.
Joining coach Waddell, who was third overall in a time of 19:48, on the Swag team were his son Perry Waddell, Carson Inlow, Daniel Graham and Grayson Graham.
