Bainbridge High School Bearcats head football coach Ed Pilcher thought his receivers and defensive backs performed well during Wednesday and Thursday passing camps with the Thomasville High School Bulldogs.

The teams participated in camps Wednesday in Bainbridge and Thursday in Thomasville.

“I thought receivers A.J. Miller and Greg Cooper did some good things in both camp sessions,”  Pilcher said. “I also thought junior quarterbacks Preston Norris and Aaron Calloway threw the ball well.”

Calloway played running back last season. Pilcher also thought Curtis Keaton, a  young freshman receiver, caught the ball well in the camps and demonstrated good technique.

Defensive backs who Pilcher thought had solid camps included senior Devin Hubbard, senior Dontavious Baulkman, senior Cameron McDowell, senior Justin Baker, senior George Clemmons, junior Cedrick Jones and junior Craig Cooper.

“We have still got a ways to go but we are making progress at receiver and in the secondary,” Pilcher said.
