Track teams honored for seasons

The Bainbridge High School Bearcats and Lady Cats track teams were honored for their 2012 achievements Tuesday at the Jones-Wheat Elementary School cafeteria.
Bearcats coaches awards for dedication and hard work were presented to Dillen Thomas and A.J. Miller.
Craig Cooper was the top field events performer and Rhyan Edwards was the top sprinter. Dontarius Jackson was the most improved Bearcats performer and Chris Johnson was the Bearcats academic award winner.
Bearcats senior plaques went to Dillen Thomas, Rhyan Edwards, Dontarius Jackson, Davey Reynolds, Trey Paris and Jordan Johnson.
Lady Cats awards went to Raven Burney as the top field events performer, Khadeeijah Cooper as the top sprinter, Diamond Bouie as the most valuable track and field performer, Jamine Price as the most improved performer and Amber Braswell as the academic award winner.
Girls senior plaques went to Khadeeijah Cooper, Diamond Bouie, Natasha Green, Amber Thomas and Khadeedra Sparrow.
