Provence signs soccer scholarship

Former Bainbridge High School Lady Cats outstanding All-Region 1AAAA midfielder Aubrie Provence, who recently completed two strong seasons with the Middle Georgia Warriors ladies team, has signed a soccer scholarship with Atlanta’s Ogelthorpe University.

Looking on as she signed in the Bainbridge High School cafeteria were her parents Dan and Bonnie Provence, her brother Daniel Provence and her Lady Cats coach Chip Ariail.

Coach Ariail and her Middle Georgia coach Vinny Gill both describe her as a very mature young lady who is outstanding  on the soccer field and in the clasroom.

“Aubrie is a very dedicated soccer player,” coach Arial said. ‘”She is a hard working young Lady who has  been playing soccer since she was very young and she has really excelled in her first two college years.”

“Aubrie has really matured at the college level,” added coach Gill. “At Middle Georgia, just as at Bainbridge High School, she is an outstanding student athlete.

“She has an outstanding grade point average and we are probably going to put her up for an acdemic award.”
