A two-run double by catcher Blake Voyles in the bottom of the first inning Thursday put the Bainbridge High School Bearcats ahead, 2-1, and they went on to post a dominating 10-1 victory over the Sneads (Fla.) High School Pirates.
The win came in the second round of the 2012 Adidas R&S Sports Tri-State Invitational Toournament, hosted by the Bearcats. Bainbridge opened tournament play on Monday, shutting out the Dothan (Ala.) High School Tigers, 7-0.

They also added two runs in the bottom of the third. Shortstop Matt Burke singled to center and left fielder Trevor Watts and pitcher Tate Lambert drew back-to-back walks to load the bases. Burke and Watts later scored on errors.
The Bearcats added a run in the sixth when Burke walked, moved up to second on a Watts walk, and later scored on a fielder’s choice.
Bainbridge added three more runs in the seventh to seal the victory.
In the seventh, Trey Suber got the first run home with a sacrifice fly to center and Miguel Williams drove in the final two runs with a double.
