Nichols Tractor Company and Attapulgus All-State Construction Company captured the A and B flight team championships at Saturday’s 13th annual Bainbridge Lions Club Skeet Shoot For Sight at Matthew Sharber’s East River Clays.

Proceeds will benefit the Lions’ sight and hearing aid conservation projects.

The top individual shooters were Sam Williams of Nichols Tractor Company in the A flight and Justin Maxwell of the First Port City Bank team in the B flight.

A light champion Nichols Tractor Company team members, in addition to A flight top individual shooter Sam Williams, were Drew Hall, Tyler Nichols and Grayson Ott.

B flight All-State Construction Company team members were 8-year-old Olin Spooner, 10-year-old Bryce Jones, 12-year-old Gage Jones, John Rose and Randy Morris.

Bainbridge Lions Club president Randy Dunlap and skeet shoot project chairman Don Sickmon both expressed pleasure with the skeet shoot.

“We want to thank all of our participating teams and sponsors,” Dunlap said.

“Everything really went well,” Sickmon said. “The All-State Construction team had some very young shooters and they really shot well.”
