Students are pictured visiting an original farm house and learning how butter was made years ago.

John Johnson Elementary School kindergarten students were able to attend a field trip to the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science, thanks to the Decatur County Education Foundation. The museum provided a Mammal Education Show, which gave valuable hands-on learning experience. The students also participated in a nature walk around the park viewing many types of animals native to the Big Bend region. The children had a great time, which made the trip a huge success.
