Grace Christian Academy’s fifth-grade students, taught by Sara Jones, enjoyed an “Overnight Adventure” at the Kennedy Space Center in March. Some of the activities the students enjoyed included making their own rocket to launch, scavenger hunting in the astronaut and rocket museum, exploring the rocket garden, watch an IMax film, camping under a real rocket and touring the grounds. They students also got to experience what it must be like to fly into space by sitting in a rocket simulator, as well as meeting astronaut Al Worden.
