Funeral services for Kedric Lamar Footman, 23, of Bainbridge, Ga., were held Friday, April 15, at St. Luke Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Harry Mitchell officiating.

Interment was in Jonas Lobe Cemetery with Jahmaar Jeffery, Tyrell Wilcher, Lawrence Green, Rashod Brooks, Carzell Footman and Ja’rod Brooks acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Footman was born May 15, 1987, in Bainbridge and died April 6, 2011, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School in 2006 and worked as a hairstylist. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Brooks and Joe Freeman.

Survivors include his mother, Ceta Footman and father, Carzell Footman; two sisters, Anastasia and Shaniqua Footman; one brother, Carzell Footman; grandmothers, Lou Footman and Blanchie Brooks; and a great-grandmother, Roberta Jackson, all of Bainbridge.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
