Ribbons and Strings –
Evening of music, dance and art
South Georgia Ballet (SGB) will present the sixth annual Ribbons and Strings, an unforgettable evening of classical, neo-classical and contemporary ballet performed to live orchestral music.
The event will be Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. at the Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center at Bainbridge College.
The performance will be a combination of internationally inspired dance and music, presented by Alison Bundrick, SGB artistic director, and Karl Barton, Ph.D., music director.
Following the performance, all guests are invited to a complimentary reception in the Solarium, where the artwork of local middle and high school students will be on display.
Advance tickets are available. Reserved seats are $25 and general admission seats are $20. To purchase tickets, call (229) 248-3775, visit The Samaritan Counseling Center of SWGA or First Port City Bank on Shotwell Street. Tickets will also be available at the box office on the day of the show.
All ticket proceeds will benefit The Bainbridge-Decatur County Council for the Arts and The Samaritan Counseling Center of SWGA. This event is sponsored by Elberta Crate.
