The Friendship House in Bainbridge recently benefited from the community service work of 31 Sigma Alpha Epsilon members from Georgia Southern University. The group of students chose Bainbridge to perform the community service because one member, Jay Curnin of Atlanta, is the grandson of Ramsay and Peggy Simmons and the groups stayed at the Simmons’ farm while in Bainbridge. At the Friendship House, the group worked on the playground, spread wood chips and pine straw, and cleaned the landscape.
