The “Fishers of Men” faith-based movie that is planned to be filmed mostly in Bainbridge and Decatur County has set up shop.
Producers of the movie say the financial picture is bright for completion of the movie, and the production crew was been in town for several days scoping out the locations of where the movie is scheduled to be filmed, said Steven Camp, executive producer of “Fishers of Men” and chief financial officer of Desert Wind Films.
“The financing is going very well, and cameras are going to roll on or about September 9th, and will roll for 23 to 28 shooting days,” Camp said.
Recently, the production company held a Chamber of Commerce-sponsored ribbon cutting at their local office, which is located at 509 S. Scott St. The production company’s phone number is (323) 606-2507.
Camp asked for anyone interested in pledging support financially as volunteers, extras, etc., to stop by the office anytime to fill out a form so that they will have it on file when the casting starts in about two weeks. They are also asking for the use of anything from the 1950s, such as automobiles, props and other items that may be useful in the movie, which is set in the early 1950s.
