A funeral service for Mrs. Jo Ann Henry, 65, of Bainbridge, will be held Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cox-Ware Funeral Home, with Brother Gary Parker officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunny Dell Cemetery in Gretna, Fla., with Jimmy Wayne Henry, Donnie Calhoun, Marcus Cox, Rodney Scott, and Kevin Combs and Jimmy Dewayne Henry serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born Feb. 17, 1945, in Bainbridge, Mrs. Henry passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Memorial Manor.

Mrs. Henry lived most of her life in Decatur County. She was a homemaker, loved to fish, work in the yard, clean house, cook lima beans, and yell at all the kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jimmy Marcell Henry.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry “Kricket” Davis of Climax and Jimmy Henry of Bainbridge; six daughters, Patricia Salter and Kathy Henry, both of Bainbridge, Betty Jones of Boykin, Ga., Rita Henry of Quincy, Fla., Barbara Baker of Live Oak, Fla., and Crystal Henry of Tallahassee, Fla.
